Dave Herbst

Founder

Before founding North Fulton Home Inspections, my work life was built upon a melting pot of education, operations, managing staff, and hands-on craftsmanship.

As a former high school science teacher, I learned how to break down complex systems and technical concepts so they’re easy to understand.

Later, spending over a decade managing high-stakes customer operations showed me the value of responsiveness, reliability, and steady communication.

In my home life, I spent years tackling home remodeling and repair projects, developing a deep respect for quality, longevity, and safety.

All my previous experiences lead me to where I am today - using a combination of all these areas to deliver the best home inspections in Metro Atlanta!

Why Work With Me:

When you hire me, you get a clear, calm, and modern inspection experience:

• An Educator’s Eye for Clarity: With a background teaching high school science, I break down complex defects into plain English - explaining what’s going on, why it matters, and how to address it without the alarmism.

• Calm Under Pressure: Backed by years of high-stakes customer care, I present tough findings with steady, objective professionalism so you can make confident decisions without unnecessary stress.

• Modern Tools & Reports: Advanced diagnostic gear, seamless online scheduling, and easy-to-read interactive digital reports delivered within 24 hours.
